For once, the mail had some stuff that didn’t involve a bill or another stupid notice from AAA about renter’s insurance.
Not exactly great news on my end but this was scan-worthy as I rarely get any physical documentation of rejection these days. The letter is really short but paper is still paper. (I used a Sharpie to black out my name and address but it still showed pretty clearly on the scan so I ended up using MS-Paint. What sucks more is that I could have used the rejection letter to as scrap paper in my printer if I didn’t mark the paper w/the Sharpie and ruined the back-side with all that ink.) Not that I had high regard for Citibank in the first place…the guy who made my life miserable @ BofA is a Citi alumni (worked there for 20 years) so even if I had gotten a job there, I’m sure I would have been surrounded by idiots like him. Not fun.
And remember how I was really irritated by that law student in Arizona?
I finally got the “package” today. According the the stamp, the package was sent on 1/11/2008 from Tucson, AZ and arrived in CA over 3 months later, without the contents. I could have walked over there and picked it up in less than 2 months.
And I finally bought a car last week and am suffering from buyer’s remorse now. I hate the feeling of getting ripped off and the dealer (Honda of Santa Ana) has me really pissed off because those idiots have not sent me my full set of keys. Now that I think about it, it’s not like people are beating down the door to hire me so I could have held on as a car-less hermit AND not contribute to global warming to boot. Anyway, it sucks to drain my savings on a car (which I’m pretty sure I don’t like) and get suckered by a car dealer. Don’t buy Hondas (or Nissans, BMWs & Toyotas).
